Hezbollah Bombed Children

You may not know the village of Majdal Shams. It is an Arab Druze community in the Golan Heights. Hezbollah, an Iranian-backed terror group, fired a rocket into a youth soccer field killing at least 12 people. All fatalities are reportedly between the ages of 10-20.

This rocket is one of thousands that Hezbollah has fired into northern Israel over the past several months. As mentioned on this blog, the North has been burning for quite some time.

It is yet another example of how little Israel's enemies value life.

While protesters in our country and around the world march and scream about war crimes, they apparently have no tears to shed for these children in the Golan. Hezbollah, Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, and other puppets of Iran fire indiscriminately into Israel. Each rocket and missile has a single goal: to kill innocent lives. It is hard to mask my anger that anti-Israel protesters in the United States proudly carry the flags of these terrorist groups.

My guess is there won't be any people marching for the lives of these 12 Muslim Israelis. No one calling for the arrest of the leaders of Hezbollah. But when Israel responds...that's when the protesters will come out.

What we are witnessing is the real Israel. Fire a rocket into Israel's borders and there is no telling if you'll kill an Arab, Jew, Muslim, Druze, Bedouin, Christian, Bahai'i or other. That is what happens when a free, democratic nation is attacked. When the IDF responds, you'll see that the State of Israel will protect the lives of everyone in her borders, no matter their ethnicity of religion.

I hope the IDF is successful in ridding Lebanon of this evil presence. May God be with them in battle. I hope, as Israel has stated, that the response will be unprecedented. No terror cells should be able to operate on the borders of Israel.

You see, Israel is trying to operate a state where children can play soccer without worrying about being bombed. These children were citizens of Israel and their lives were taken from them by true senseless evil.

May their memory be a blessing. May the Source of Peace bring peace to the Majdal Shams community and to the State and people of Israel.
